Discovering a sack on the roadside, reporting to the police to return it to the person who dropped it
A resident in Hung Yen discovered a sack on the roadside and quickly reported it to the commune police to return it to the person who dropped it.
According to the Hung Yen Provincial Police Electronic Information Portal, recently, while traveling on the road near her house in Thai Hoa 2 village, Nam Dong Hung commune, citizen Nham Thi Thanh discovered a sack falling on the roadside. Realizing that this was someone else's property, if not handled promptly, it could cause damage to the person who lost it, this citizen quickly brought the sack to report to the commune police.
Immediately after receiving the citizen's report, the Commune Police quickly conducted a preliminary inspection of the condition and characteristics of the sack, inside containing 15 packages containing goods, with a total value of about 5 million VND, identifying the sender, recipient and transportation unit information on the packaging.
On that basis, contact the delivery unit recorded on the packaging to verify order information and delivery person information. At the same time, deploy a review of routes, determine the time citizens picked up property, combined with extracting the area security camera system to clarify the dropping process.
After correctly identifying the owner as Mr. Dinh Van Lich (born in 1993, residing in Tay Binh Cach village, Bac Dong Hung commune, Hung Yen province), the commune police contacted and handed over the property, ensuring compliance with regulations, publicity, and transparency.

The process of receiving, verifying and returning property was carried out quickly and closely, showing the spirit of responsibility and dedication of the Commune Police force in protecting the legitimate rights of the people. The person who received the property expressed their emotion and gratitude for the spirit of responsibility of the Commune Police force as well as the honest and noble gesture of the person who picked it up and handed it over.
