Director of Lang Son Department of Finance joins the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee
Lang Son - Mr. Phan Hong Tien, Director of the Department of Finance, was approved by the Secretariat to participate in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030.
The decision was announced on the afternoon of August 5 at the 9th Conference of the Standing Committee of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, chaired by Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Quoc Khanh.
Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh presented the decision of the Secretariat and together with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Phan Hong Tien.
Mr. Tien was born in 1973, Nung ethnicity, from Lang Son; holds a Bachelor of Laws, Master of Science Management, and advanced political theory.
Before becoming Director of the Department of Finance, he held the positions of Deputy Head of Department, Head of the Management Board of Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone; Chairman of Dinh Lap District People's Committee; Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of Huu Lung District People's Council.
He also served as Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Lang Son province.
At the conference, the Standing Committee of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee discussed the medium-term public investment plan of state budget capital for the period 2026-2030; the supplementation and allocation of the 2026 public investment plan and the investment policy for a number of projects in the area.
Delegates also gave opinions on the plan to arrange public preschool, general education, continuing education and vocational education institutions of the province.
Another content being considered is the action program to implement Resolution No. 06 dated May 19, 2026 of the Politburo on deploying the foreign policy guidelines of the 14th Party Congress.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee also summarized projects and resolutions on building a contingent of leading and managing cadres, especially heads, meeting the requirements for qualities, capacity and prestige by 2030; considered a number of contents related to personnel work.
