Orientation to rearrange public schools in Binh Duong
Binh Duong - The Provincial People's Committee assigned relevant departments, branches and localities to study and advise on the rearrangement of schools in the area.
The People's Committee of Binh Duong province has sent documents to departments and branches on continuing to reorganize and streamline the apparatus of agencies and units.
Notably, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province assigned the Department of Education and Training of Binh Duong province to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs and the People's Committees of districts and cities to study and advise the Provincial People's Committee on reorganizing schools.
The reorganization of schools is in two directions. First, schools that meet the requirements must be organized as inter-level schools. Second, schools located near each other should be merged to streamline and reduce the management apparatus.

According to the Binh Duong Provincial Electronic Information Portal, in the 2024-2025 school year, the whole province has 713 schools and centers (375 public schools, 338 non-public schools). The total number of students from preschool to high school, continuing education in the province is about 520,000 students.

Binh Duong plans to have 27 wards
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that on March 28, the Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee held an online conference to deploy new documents of the Central and the province on streamlining the apparatus.
Currently, Binh Duong has 9 district-level administrative units (5 cities, 4 districts) and 91 commune-level administrative units (39 communes, 47 wards, 5 towns). The plan to reorganize commune-level administrative units is expected, after reorganization, the remaining 27 commune-level administrative units will be reorganized.
