Voters worry about fake news online about restructuring and streamlining the apparatus

On April 14, at the 44th Session, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave its opinion on the report on the results of monitoring the settlement and response to voters' petitions sent to the 8th Session, reviewing the National Assembly's report on petition work in March 2025.

Presenting this content, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Petition and Supervision Duong Thanh Binh reflected that voters and people are very interested in the contents of the 9th Session program.

In particular, the National Assembly should consider amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution and amending laws related to amending the Constitution to serve the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus in the spirit of Resolution 18.

According to Mr. Duong Thanh Binh, voters and people expect the National Assembly to make important decisions to remove difficulties, contribute to the development of the country's economy, stabilize and improve people's lives.

At the same time, voters and people are interested in and agree to support the work of arranging and streamlining the apparatus of the political system that is being directed to be implemented resolutely and urgently, achieving important initial results.

However, voters and people are worried about fake and untrue information spreading on social networks about the policy of streamlining the organization of Party and State agencies and reorganizing administrative units.

In addition, voters and people are particularly concerned about the fire and explosion that occurred in many places; medical examination and treatment activities disguised as doctors in large hospitals without medical practice certificates.

Voters and people are also concerned that the US announcement of the decision to impose counterpart tariffs on Vietnamese export items is at risk of having a significant impact on domestic production and employment, especially for exporting enterprises.

The Petition and Supervision Committee recommended that the National Assembly Standing Committee request the Government and the Prime Minister to direct competent agencies to continue to coordinate and discuss with the US side in the spirit of building and cooperating to find practical solutions, contributing to the stable and sustainable development of bilateral economic relations, meeting the interests of the people and businesses of the two countries.

In addition, it is recommended that the Ministry of Health urgently strengthen management and strictly handle disguised medical examination and treatment activities, tighten regulations on granting practice licenses, and strictly handle violations in the health sector.

The Ministry of Public Security strengthens inspection and examination of fire prevention and fighting, especially for businesses, mini apartments, individual houses combined with production and business with high potential fire and explosion risks.

Giving his opinion, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man assessed that many issues related to the people have been seriously accepted by ministries and branches, and some recommendations of the National Assembly Standing Committee have also been accepted.

"The document replied better, not being lenient, general, and formal, voters were satisfied. Many complaints were resolved by ministries and branches during the time between the two sessions. Some ministries and branches have resolved many complaints from voters" - the National Assembly Chairman stated.

From the above issue, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man proposed to promote and constantly innovate the coordination mechanism of local ministries and branches, taking the satisfaction of voters and people as a measure.
