Officially opening Quang Da bridge connecting Quang Nam - Da Nang
The bridge connecting Quang Nam - Da Nang officially opened to traffic, shortening travel time and promoting trade between the two localities.
On the morning of March 27, the People's Committee of Da Nang City held a ceremony to open the technical traffic of the Quang Da bridge project and the approach road connecting Hoa Khuong commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang City with Dien Tien commune, Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee, emphasized the socio -political significance of the project, considering this as a symbol of durable solidarity between the two localities. He repeated the history of arterial roads connecting the two river banks during the anti -American resistance war, and confirmed that the new bridge would continue that tradition, promote trade and socio -economic development for the whole region.
"During the project implementation process, we encountered many difficulties, from terrain and weather conditions to technical challenges. However, with a high sense of responsibility, close direction from leaders at all levels, determination of the construction unit and support of the people after more than 15 months, we have overcome all obstacles to bring the project to the finish line on schedule, ensuring quality, safety and eligibility to organize traffic on the entire route," said Mr. Le Trung Chinh.
The Quang Da bridge and access road project, started in December 2023, is implemented by the budgets of both Da Nang and Quang Nam. The project has a total length of more than 1.4 km, a scale of 4 lanes, and a total investment of more than 274 billion VND.
In particular, the bridge item is 204m long, 22m wide, the two -end road category is longer than 1.2 km, with the beginning of the line with National Highway 14B in Hoa Khuong commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city and the end point connected to the northern ring road project in Dien Tien commune, Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province with cross -section of 27m - 34m. According to the construction contract, the contractor will complete the construction in May May 525. However, the leadership of Da Nang City directed to accelerate the construction progress and technical traffic before March 29, promptly celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of two localities.
