National Competition Commission membership training regime

From April 1, Decision 04/2025/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on compensation regime for members of the National Competition Commission, those conducting competition litigation, appraiser, interpreter, and witness officially takes effect.

Accordingly, members of the National Competition Commission are compensated VND 2,340,000/person/month.

In Article 3 of the decision, the compensation regime for those who conduct competition litigation, appraise, interpret, and witness at the hearing is stipulated as follows:

- The Chairman of the Board for handling cases of competition restrictions is compensated 150,000 VND/day.

- Members of the Council for handling competition restrictions, investigators of competition cases participating in the hearing, and hearing secretaries are compensated VND 100,000/person/day.

- The appraiser is invited by the Council for handling the case of competition limitation to receive a compensation of VND 100,000/person/day.

- Translators invited by the Council for handling competition restrictions to attend the hearing will receive compensation according to regulations on interpreting costs in the foreign guest reception regime and spending on organizing international conferences and seminars in Vietnam.

- The person who is summoned by the Council for handling the case of competition limitation to the hearing will be compensated VND 100,000/person/day.

Also according to the decision, investigators of competition cases are compensated 80,000 VND/person/day during the time assigned to investigate competition cases.

Translators summoned and invited by the Investigation Agency on Competition Cases to participate in the working session during the investigation of the competition case will receive compensation according to regulations on interpretation costs in the regime for receiving foreign guests and spending on organizing international conferences and seminars in Vietnam.

The appraiser and witness who is summoned and invited by the competition investigation agency to participate in the working session during the investigation of the competition case will be compensated 100,000 VND/person/day.

The Chairman of the Board for handling the case of competition restrictions was compensated 150,000 VND/day.

Members of the Council for handling competition restrictions, members of the Council for handling complaints deciding to handle competition cases will be compensated VND 100,000/person/day.

The funding source to pay for the fostering regime for members of the National Competition Committee, the person conducting the competition procedure, the expertise, the translator, the witnesser guaranteed by the state budget and are arranged in the annual state budget estimate of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in accordance with the law on the state budget.
