Appointment of Ms. Ho Thi Kim Thoan to the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Bao Ve Phap Luat Newspaper

On the afternoon of August 4, at the agency headquarters, the Supreme People's Procuracy (VKSND) held a ceremony to announce and award the Decision of the Chief Procurator of the Supreme People's Procuracy on the appointment of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Bao Ve Phap Luat Newspaper.

At the ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel Chu Xuan Ngoc (Supreme People's Procuracy) announced Decision No. 46/QD-VKSTC dated August 3, 2026 of the Chief Procurator of the Supreme People's Procuracy on the appointment of Ms. Ho Thi Kim Thoan - Editor-in-Chief, Head of Department to hold the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of BVPL Newspaper. The term of appointment is 5 years, from August 5, 2026.

At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Hai Quan - Deputy Head of the Supreme People's Procuracy presented the decision and flowers to congratulate Ms. Ho Thi Kim Thoan on being appointed to the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of BVPL Newspaper.

Speaking to direct and assign tasks at the Ceremony, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and leaders of the Supreme People's Procuracy, Mr. Tran Hai Quan - Deputy Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy clearly stated that this is a ceremony of great significance and a common joy of BVPL Newspaper; at the same time, congratulating Ms. Ho Thi Kim Thoan, an official trusted to be appointed to a new responsibility - a recognition of the past contributions and sending trust and responsibility for the road ahead.

According to Mr. Tran Hai Quan, the appointment of Ms. Ho Thi Kim Thoan to the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of BVPL Newspaper shows the concern of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Leaders of the Supreme People's Procuracy for the work of building and consolidating the leadership team of the Newspaper.

Assessing and recognizing the working and training process of Ms. Ho Thi Kim Thoan, Mr. Tran Hai Quan said that the experiences accumulated during the working process will be the foundation for Ms. Ho Thi Kim Thoan to undertake leadership and management tasks in her position as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of BVPL Newspaper.

Mr. Tran Hai Quan clearly stated that in the current digital media context, the requirements for information and propaganda work of the People's Procuracy sector are increasingly high, requiring BVPL Newspaper not only to perform well in its political tasks but also to strongly innovate in content and methods of operation, improve quality, combativeness and social spread, and at the same time contribute to ensuring income and living standards for officials, employees, and workers of the Newspaper.

Speaking to receive directing opinions and receive the assignment, Ms. Ho Thi Kim Thoan - the new Deputy Editor-in-Chief of BVPL Newspaper affirmed that this is not only an honor but also a great responsibility, requiring comrades to continue to strive to study, train and contribute more.
