Secretary of Bac Yen Commune Party Committee appointed Director of Son La Provincial Department of Science and Technology

On August 4, Son La Provincial People's Committee organized the announcement of the decision on personnel work, appointing Ms. Ha Thi Ngoc Yen to hold the position of Director of the Department of Science and Technology.

Accordingly, Chairman of Son La Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Viet awarded the decision to receive Ms. Ha Thi Ngoc Yen - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Bac Yen commune - to work at the Department of Science and Technology and appointed her to hold the position of Director of the Department of Science and Technology from August 1, 2026.

Ms. Ha Thi Ngoc Yen was born on October 9, 1980, native of Chieng Mung commune, Son La province. She holds a Bachelor of Accounting, Master of Economic Management and Advanced Political Theory degree.

Before being appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Science and Technology, Ms. Ha Thi Ngoc Yen had held many positions such as Deputy Director of the Department of Finance, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Secretary of the Bac Yen District Party Committee (before arranging administrative units), Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Bac Yen commune.

The consolidation of the title of Director of the Department of Science and Technology aims to meet the requirements of leadership and operation of the sector in the new period, contributing to the effective implementation of tasks of science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation in the province.
