Thanh Hoa honors 50 outstanding trade union officials in 2026
Thanh Hoa - 50 trade union officials with many contributions to trade union activities and movements were honored and commended.
On the afternoon of October 4, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation organized the summary of the "Thanh Land's Excellent Workers" Contest, launched the Digital Trade Union and commended typical trade union officials in 2026.
Attending the program were Mr. Le Van Nghia - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Nguyen Hong Phong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Council; representatives of leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province, the Provincial Labor Federation and a large number of union members and workers.
The "Thanh An Excellent Workers" Contest 2026 is held for 2 days (October 3rd and 4th), with the participation of 27 teams, representing direct production workers at enterprises in the province.
In which, the garment industry has 13 teams, and the leather shoe industry has 14 teams. Contestants participating are mainly selected from grassroots-level competitions to compete at provincial-level competitions.
Going through 3 parts of the competition: "Excellent Skills - High Productivity - Quality and Efficiency"; "Aspiration for workers - Trade Unions strive - Enterprises innovate and create for workers"; "Uneally understanding the law - Creative practice - Building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations", the teams showed professional skills, legal knowledge and the ability to handle situations in labor relations.
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 6 third prizes, 13 consolation prizes and 6 component prizes to teams with achievements in the leather and garment industries.
At the program, representatives of leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Labor Federation performed the launching ceremony of the Digital Trade Union - the management and operation system of Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union; and launched the online meeting room at the Provincial Labor Federation and grassroots trade unions with many workers in the area.
On this occasion, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation honored and commended 50 typical trade union officials in 2026. These are officials who have made many contributions to trade union activities, caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers, contributing to building a strong Trade Union organization.
