Ngu Hanh Son Ward Labor Union, Da Nang completes and achieves 2025 targets

News from Ngu Hanh Son Ward Trade Union, Da Nang City on January 18 said: The Ward Trade Union held a conference to summarize union activities in 2025 and deploy tasks for 2026.

Attending were Mr. Dang Van Ky - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward; Mr. Mai Nien - Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Council; representatives of the leaders of the Ward People's Committee, advisory agencies to assist the Party Committee, the Executive Committee of the Ward Trade Union, term I and representatives of grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions.

In 2025, in the context of intertwined advantages and difficulties, Ngu Hanh Son Ward Trade Union has made efforts to innovate the content and methods of operation, completing and exceeding the targets assigned by the City Labor Federation.

The ward union successfully organized the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 20252030; currently assigned to manage 121 grassroots unions with 7,729 union members over 8,207 workers and civil servants.

Including 7 grassroots trade unions in the public service sector; 8 grassroots trade unions in the private school sector; 5 trade unions, 101 grassroots trade unions in the enterprise sector.

Since its establishment (July 1, 2025), the Ward Trade Union has established 19 new grassroots Trade Unions.

The work of caring for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers continues to be focused on. During the year, the Ward Union organized and coordinated to give more than 1,200 gifts with a total budget of over 1.2 billion VND.

In particular, due to the severe impact of storms and floods in October 2025, the Ward Union has promptly supported 240 union members and workers with a total budget of 480 million VND. The "Union Shelter" program has been effectively implemented, supporting the repair and construction of 5 new houses for union members in difficult circumstances.

Ngu Hanh Son Ward Trade Union agreed on the direction and tasks for 2026 with a focus on establishing a new grassroots Trade Union, developing union members, improving the quality of propaganda, training vocational skills for workers, enhancing negotiation, signing collective labor agreements, building a strong trade union organization.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dang Van Ky acknowledged and highly appreciated the achieved results, and believed that the Ward Union would continue to promote its role as a companion to workers and local development in 2026.
