Cua Ong Coal Selection sets a goal of safety and improved welfare during Workers' Month
Quang Ninh - May 4, Cua Ong Coal Selection Company - TKV organized a launching ceremony to respond to the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health and the Workers' Month 2026.
Attending the program were Ms. Dang Thi Kim Chung - Vice President of the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, along with representatives of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Trade Union and related units.
At the launching ceremony, the Trade Union and Company leaders set out 6 key action goals, emphasizing proactive risk prevention and control; improving working conditions to minimize labor accidents, occupational diseases, equipment incidents and fires and explosions.
Businesses aim to build a "cleaner, safer, and friendlier" working environment, contributing to improving productivity, improving welfare, ensuring the health and happiness of workers and sustainable development.
Applying AI in propaganda, production management, raising awareness of complying with processes, technical regulations, and labor regulations for officials and employees; thereby helping workers proactively prevent risks, protect themselves, colleagues and business assets.
Responding to Workers' Month, the Trade Union and Company leaders launched welfare programs for more than 400 typical workers, representing over 2,800 workers. Activities include sightseeing, vacation; support for treatment, health care; organizing mass sports competitions such as badminton, table tennis; participating in cultural and sports activities organized by Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited and Quang Ninh province in 2026.
This year's program is implemented with the themes: "Innovating management and improving the efficiency of occupational safety and health in the digital age" and "Vietnamese workers innovate and improve labor productivity". On this occasion, the Company organized the signing of emulation agreements between mass organizations and 23 departments and workshops; and at the same time rewarded typical collectives and individuals, visited and supported workers in difficult circumstances and suffering from dangerous diseases.
The launching ceremony demonstrated the determination of the leadership and employees of Cua Ong Coal Selection Company in improving production efficiency associated with ensuring safety and caring for the lives of workers.
