Launching Workers' Month in Tan Dong Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City

Mr. Le Nguyen Minh Sang - Chairman of Tan Dong Hiep Ward Trade Union said that this is an opportunity to honor workers who have made great contributions to the socio-economic development of the locality. At the same time, this is a month to take care of the spiritual and material life of workers.

During Workers' Month, grassroots trade unions in the area launched a creative worker emulation movement, with many technical improvements, improving labor productivity. At the same time, innovate management, improve the efficiency of occupational safety and health in the digital age.

Ms. Dang Thanh Thuy - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Tan Dong Hiep Ward said that the ward always appreciates the contributions of investors, the business community and the labor achievements of workers. At the program, the establishment of 5 grassroots trade unions in the ward was launched; launched the Safe Boarding House Women's Group and the Youth Union branch at enterprises.

Also at the launching ceremony, delegates opened the trade union fair, presented 500 shopping vouchers to workers; presented 21 health insurance cards to women in difficult circumstances.

Notably, at this program, the Trade Union of Tan Dong Hiep ward presented 100 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances.

Also at the ceremony, businesses in the area signed commitments to ensure labor safety and hygiene at the grassroots level, ensuring health for workers.
