Rename Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation to Bac Ninh City Labor Federation

At the program, the Bac Ninh City Labor Federation also launched a short video writing contest with the theme "Bac Ninh Trade Union - A reliable support for workers and accompanying businesses"; commending typical collectives and individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style; summarizing and awarding prizes for the "Family Happiness" photo contest in 2026.

At the Conference, Mr. Tong Van Bang - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Labor Relations Department, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on renaming the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation to the Bac Ninh City Labor Federation.

In a solemn atmosphere, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented the Decision and flowers to congratulate the Bac Ninh City Labor Federation. Mr. Tran Huy Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Bac Ninh City Party Committee, presented flowers to congratulate, marking a new milestone in the process of building and developing the City Trade Union organization.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu emphasized that Bac Ninh's new position and stature today has the important contribution of generations of workers. With hands, minds, and a diligent and creative working spirit, the team of workers, civil servants, and laborers has made practical contributions to the process of building, developing, and creating Bac Ninh's position today.

He acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Bac Ninh Trade Union in the past time, especially the continued inheritance and promotion of the traditions of the Bac Ninh and Bac Giang Trade Unions in the past; proactively deploying many rich, diverse, innovative, and practical activities, taking union members and workers as the center; and the emergence of many new models, creative and effective ways of working.

Mentioning tasks in the new period, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu requested the city's Trade Union levels to fully understand the new position, new stature, and new requirements and responsibilities.

Each trade union official needs to innovate thinking, vision, and operating methods suitable to the development requirements of the city; continue to research and consolidate the organizational structure, arrange suitable officials, promote the capacity, strengths and responsibilities of each official; focus on effectively implementing the resolutions of the Trade Union organization, meeting the increasing requirements for the work of caring for, representing and protecting workers.

Accepting the directions, the Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh City Labor Federation determined to continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation; focusing on grassroots levels, taking union members and workers as the center; effectively performing the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers; accompanying businesses, contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations.

The name change is not only a milestone in organization but also creates motivation to continue innovating and improving the quality of Trade Union activities in the new period.

Also at the Conference, the Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh City Labor Federation launched a short video writing contest with the theme "Bac Ninh Trade Union - A reliable support for workers and accompanying businesses".

On this occasion, the Bac Ninh City Labor Federation commended and rewarded collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style. According to Decision No. 1335/QD-LDLD dated September 22, 2026, the Executive Committee of the City Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit to 44 collectives and 123 individuals with outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style, period 2023-2025.

The conference also summarized and awarded prizes for the "Family Happiness" photo contest among union members and workers in Bac Ninh city - 2026.

The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 67 individuals and 1 collective, including 2 first prizes, 5 second prizes, 10 third prizes, 50 consolation prizes and 1 collective prize; total prize value of 82 million VND.

The team prize belonged to the Trade Union of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. (SEV). The two first prizes were awarded to Hoang Van Hien, Trade Union of Hana Kovi Co., Ltd., Trade Union of Tan Yen commune and Duong Van Duc, Trade Union of Roy Vina Co., Ltd., Trade Union of Tien Phong ward.
