83-year-old man riding a motorbike lost 200km was found by the police to help relatives
Lam Dong - An 83-year-old man was confused, riding his own motorbike and getting lost on a deserted pass, about 200km from his house, and was helped by the police to contact relatives to pick him up.
On July 26, the old man was confused and got lost 200km from Binh Thuan ward to Lac Duong commune, Lam Dong province and was picked up by relatives for care.
Previously, information about the search for Mr. N.V.T (83 years old, residing in Binh Thuan ward, Lam Dong province) who had gone missing since the morning of July 24 was shared by many people and asked the online community to provide information.
On the evening of July 25, passersby discovered an exhausted old man on a deserted pass in Lac Duong commune, Lam Dong province. After visiting, people saw that the old man was injured in the leg and had unusual signs, so they took him to the commune police headquarters to report.
The old man was then taken to the commune health station for care and health check-up. However, the old man could not remember the name or information about the family.
From the license plate driven by the old man, the police searched for information and contacted relatives. That same night, a 0 VND ambulance from Binh Thuan took the old man's relatives to the emergency room to receive him. The old man was then taken to Binh Thuan General Hospital for further treatment.
According to relatives, the old man was confused and rode a motorbike and got lost. In the past few days, the family has been very worried and searched everywhere but to no avail. Now that he has been found, his family thanks the police and the people for their timely help.
