Tay Ninh promotes care and safety assurance for workers

On the morning of April 24, at Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Park Joint Stock Company (Trang Bang ward), the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Department of Home Affairs to organize the Launching Ceremony of Workers' Month and respond to the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Le Duy - Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation said that for many years, May has been chosen as "Workers' Month", this activity has truly become a great festival for workers, with many practical programs to care for the material and spiritual life and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.

In 2026, Workers' Month has the theme "Vietnamese Workers: Innovation, improving labor productivity", associated with the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health with the theme "Innovating management and improving the effectiveness of occupational safety and health in the digital age". The activities are implemented synchronously to improve working conditions, limit work accidents, occupational diseases and improve the quality of human resources.

According to the plan, in this year's Workers' Month, the Trade Union levels of Tay Ninh province will organize many key activities such as the program "Creative workers, confidently stepping into the new era"; the forum "Party with workers - Workers with the Party"; the program "May Dialogue" between workers and employers; visiting and giving gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, who have had labor accidents or occupational diseases; organizing health checks for workers; supporting the construction and repair of "Trade Union Homes".

Activities to develop union members, establish grassroots trade unions; honor typical workers; organize emulation movements for good labor, creative labor; cultural and sports activities among workers are also deployed simultaneously at the grassroots level.

Within the framework of the program, the cross-country running competition with the theme "Connecting millions of workers' footsteps" is also organized to spread the spirit of health training and building a healthy cultural life among workers.

On this occasion, the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation also launched emulation movements among union members and workers, rewarding 100 collectives and 150 individuals with outstanding achievements in labor production.

Through the series of activities of Workers' Month 2026, the Trade Union organization continues to affirm its role in accompanying workers and businesses, contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in the province.
