On April 18, the Can Tho City Labor Federation organized a program to provide medical examinations and free medicine distribution to people in Thoi An Dong ward.

The program is part of the series of activities of Workers' Month 2026 organized by the Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Labor Federation.

Speaking at the program, Chairman of Can Tho City Labor Federation Le Thi Suong Mai said that taking care of people's health is always an important task, showing the deep humanity of the Party and State. In the coming time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City and the City Labor Federation will continue to coordinate and mobilize social resources to organize more practical activities to care for people's lives and health, especially union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

At the program, 300 gifts were presented to people with a total value of 30 million VND; at the same time, medicine and medical supplies worth 40 million VND were distributed, raising the total cost to 70 million VND.
