Tay Ninh organizes 45 "Trade Union Bus Trips" to take nearly 2,000 workers home for Tet

At two departure points in Thuan Dao expanded industrial parks and Trang Bang, 45 high-quality bus trips have taken 1,915 union members and workers back to provinces and cities in the North, Central, Central Highlands and Mekong Delta regions to reunite with their families during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.

These are workers in difficult circumstances who have not had the conditions to return to their hometowns for Tet for many years. From early morning, a large number of workers were present at the gathering point, carrying luggage, excitedly leaving after a long time working far from home.

Not only supporting transportation, the program also carries the meaning of caring for the spiritual life of union members and workers. Mr. Tran Le Duy - Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation said that each bus trip not only takes workers home to reunite with their families but also contributes to creating motivation for them to feel secure in returning to work after the Tet holiday.

This year's Binh Ngo Tet holiday, the total budget for caring for union members and workers in Tay Ninh province reached about 101 billion VND. Of which, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor supported nearly 10 billion VND, the provincial budget supported 900 million VND, and the rest was deducted from trade union financial sources and socialization mobilization.

In addition to the "Trade Union Bus" program, trade union levels in the province also presented 50,000 gifts worth 1 million VND each to workers in difficult circumstances; and supported tens of thousands of direct and online shopping vouchers.

For about 1,100 union members who do not have the conditions to return to their hometowns for Tet, the Trade Union organization of Tay Ninh province organized activities "Tet reunion", "New Year's Eve meal" at the boarding house area, contributing to bringing a warm atmosphere in the last days of the year.
