Going to the fields to mobilize students to return to school
Gia Lai - Many Youth Union officials and teachers go to the fields and fields, to their homes to mobilize students not to voluntarily leave school to work as freelancers...
Over the past time, the Youth Union officials of Po To commune and teachers in the area have not worn out about difficulties, going to parents' homes at night to propagate and bring students back to class.
In Po To commune, many children are easily seduced and dragged away from school by bad friends to go to work in other localities.
Abandoning school early not only makes children lose opportunities for future development but also face many risks such as labor exploitation, harsh working conditions, affecting physical and mental health.
Teacher Vu Van Tung - teacher of Dinh Nup Primary and Secondary School, Po To commune said: "Besides, a part of students follow their parents to the fields to earn a living from an early age. Difficult life makes learning taken lightly, many children gradually leave the classroom, missing important knowledge for their future journey. This reality poses a major challenge for maintaining the number of students and improving the quality of education in the locality.
Faced with that situation, the commune youth union and teachers in the area actively joined in. Not afraid of difficulties, they directly went to each family to mobilize, propagate, and persuade students to return to school.

Sincere conversations and timely encouragement have partly helped the children understand the meaning of learning and change their perceptions.
Not stopping at mobilization, mass organizations and teachers also join hands to provide practical support such as donating books, necessities, and even providing food support to families in difficult circumstances.
At the same time, parents are also required to increase their responsibility, care and remind their children to go to school fully, because learning is the most sustainable way to escape poverty.
These efforts have contributed to helping many students return to class, gradually stabilizing their studies. However, to thoroughly solve the situation of dropping out of school, the joint efforts of the entire community are needed, from families, schools to local authorities.
