The campaigns and patriotic emulation movements are implemented with focus and key points by all levels of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City.
Ms. Bui Huyen Mai - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Hanoi City - said that, closely following the guidance of the Central Committee of the VFF, the direction of the City Party Committee, the coordination of the government and member organizations, the City VFF has focused on and proactively innovated the content and methods of operation; flexibly and creatively. In which, focusing strongly on grassroots levels, taking residential areas as the focal area to both propagate and mobilize, gather solidarity, and listen to the thoughts and aspirations, receive initiatives and recommendations of the People to participate in Party building, government building, and deploy patriotic emulation movements.
Diversifying forms of propaganda
In which, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City continues to innovate and diversify forms of propaganda, mobilization, grasping public opinion, and improving the quality of propaganda activities of the Front. Content and methods of gathering have many innovations, adapting to the development of social life; promoting digital transformation, applying information technology in operations; improving the quality of electronic information pages (websites), Democracy and Solidarity News Bulletins and propaganda publications; deploying throughout the Front system to implement propaganda on social networks through community pages (fanpages), Zalo groups...; closely coordinating with media agencies in propaganda work.
In particular, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the City successfully participated in organizing events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, spreading national pride, consolidating belief, and arousing patriotism and civic responsibility.
The work of grasping public opinion is focused on; promoting the role of the organizational system, the force of Front officials and member organizations, and the role of the Advisory Council to grasp the situation, gather opinions, aspirations, and suggestions of the people.
Strongly arousing the spirit of emulation and creative labor of the people
According to Ms. Bui Huyen Mai, the campaigns and patriotic emulation movements are being implemented with focus and key points.
Strongly arouse the spirit of emulation, creative labor of the people and the joint efforts of the entire community to participate in economic development, solve social problems, build new rural areas, civilized urban areas, and sustainable poverty reduction; continue to effectively mobilize resources to implement social security work, making positive contributions to the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in the City.
Effectively implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized cities", effectively participating in the sustainable poverty reduction program and social security work, the whole City has mobilized more than 63 billion VND to support the "For the Poor" Fund; supported the construction and repair of more than 1,500 houses of great solidarity and supported livelihoods for near-poor households and households in difficult circumstances; contributing to the City completing new rural construction 2 years ahead of schedule, completing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the area and no more poor households according to the City's standards.
Continue to coordinate with the City People's Committee to organize the People's Congress and the Great National Unity Festival, promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, and contribute ideas to build and develop the Capital. Innovate mobilization methods, be transparent in the management and use of all types of Funds, and continue to receive the trust and support of a large number of organizations and individuals.
Fronts at all levels have mobilized more than 120 billion VND to support the "For Vietnam's Sea and Islands" Fund; the City Relief Fund has allocated nearly 26 billion VND to support Hanoi people affected by natural disasters and fires. In 2 years 2024, 2025, the city has supported nearly 260 billion VND to help provinces and cities overcome the consequences of storms and floods, soon restore production, and stabilize life.
The campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" marked the maintenance of the "Vietnamese Goods Loved by Consumers" voting program, contributing to promoting high-quality Vietnamese products and services, changing behavior, and raising consumer awareness of Vietnamese products and goods. Continuing to implement the movement "Creative solidarity, improving productivity, quality, efficiency, international integration" with many new models being deployed and promoting effectiveness.
