Khanh Hoa - The 0 VND Haircut Group organizes free haircuts and shampooing activities for inpatients and their families.
On April 21, news from the Social Work Department - Ninh Thuan General Hospital said that it has coordinated with the 0 VND Haircut Group to organize free haircuts and shampooing activities for inpatients and their families, contributing to bringing sharing and spiritual encouragement to patients.
Free haircuts and shampooing activities are a charity program that has been maintained at Ninh Thuan General Hospital in recent times. In 2025, the program will mainly be implemented in departments of the main building such as the Department of Neurology and the Department of Respiratory Medicine.
By 2026, after the Social Work Department proposed, exchanged and agreed with the 0 VND Haircut Group, the operation has been expanded to many departments outside the main building such as the Oncology Department, Traditional Medicine Department, Interventional Cardiology Department, Kidney and Urology Department.
This expansion helps more patients have more opportunities to access practical care services.
With the participation of skilled barbers, the activity took place in a warm and intimate atmosphere.
Gentle hair cutting and shampooing operations not only help patients stay neat and clean but also contribute to improving their spirit during treatment.
The program received positive responses from patients, family members and medical staff.
Social Work Department staff directly supported, guided, arranged, and coordinated participants.
When the number is large, this force also participates in shampooing and hair drying to ensure that all patients are served thoughtfully.
According to representatives of the Social Work Department, smiles and words of thanks from patients are the motivation to continue connecting, maintaining and spreading meaningful activities in the coming time.
The activity not only supports personal care but also contributes to creating cohesion and sharing in the hospital environment, helping patients gain more faith and willpower in the treatment process.
