Chien Dan Commune Trade Union, Da Nang organizes "October Flower Colors" festival

News from the Trade Union of Chien Dan commune, Da Nang city on October 19 said: The Trade Union of Chien Dan commune organized the "October Flower Colors" Festival to celebrate the 16th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day, attracting nearly 300 officials, union members, and workers in the area to participate.

Attending the festival were Ms. Tran Thi Thu Sang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee; Mr. Ninh Dinh Tam - Deputy Head of the Commune Culture - Society Department; Mr. Dang Hoang Trieu - Production Director of Germton Development Co., Ltd.; along with representatives of units and grassroots trade unions.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Tran Thi Minh Hieu - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Chien Dan commune, emphasized the role of women in the family, business and society.

Modern women not only nurture family happiness but also promote knowledge, bravery, creative spirit, affirm their position in labor and production, contributing to the development of businesses and localities.

The festival took place sôi nổi with two outstanding activities: the "Golden Bell Ringing" contest and the "Vietnamese Ao Dai" performance.

With a system of questions about history, Vietnamese women's traditions, knowledge of labor law, policies of the Party, Trade Union organizations, health and family, the "Golden Bell Ringing" contest creates opportunities for female union members and workers to exchange, consolidate knowledge, and improve legal understanding.

The ao dai performance brought a graceful space, honoring the beauty of Vietnamese women, and at the same time spreading traditional cultural values in modern life.

On this occasion, the Chien Dan Commune Trade Union presented 100 gifts, with a total value of 100 million VND, each worth 1 million VND, to support female union members and workers in difficult circumstances at grassroots trade unions.

The activity shows the concern and sharing of the Trade Union organization, contributing to encouraging female union members and workers to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, feel secure in their work and be attached to agencies, units, and businesses.

The "October Flower Colors" festival is an opportunity for female union members and workers to exchange, improve their spiritual lives, and at the same time affirm the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting the rights and promoting the progress of women.
