Hai Van Ward Trade Union, Da Nang launches Self-managed Worker Group of Xuan Thieu 10 Residential Area

News from Hai Van Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on May 6th said: Hai Van Ward Trade Union organizes the launching ceremony of the Self-managed Workers Group of Xuan Thieu 10 Residential Area.

Attending the conference were representatives of leaders of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Van ward, and leaders of the residential area party cell.

At the conference, the Hai Van Ward Trade Union announced the decision to establish the Self-Management Workers' Group of Xuan Thieu 10 Residential Area, the Management Board consists of 10 people, with 150 workers operating in the group.

Launching to receive the task, the Management Board of the Self-managed Workers' Group of Xuan Thieu 10 Residential Area committed to striving to complete the assigned tasks, being a bridge connecting workers and trade union organizations.

At the same time, it will closely grasp the grassroots, thoughts, and aspirations of workers, promptly report and propose to the Ward Trade Union when problems arise.

On the occasion of the launch of the Self-managed Workers' Group of Xuan Thieu 10 Residential Area, the Da Nang City Labor Federation awarded support for 1 mobile car to serve the group's activities.

At the same time, 20 gifts were presented, each worth 500,000 VND, to workers in difficult circumstances residing in the group.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, workers were propagated and disseminated content related to security and order work, thereby raising awareness of law compliance and ensuring security and order in the area.

It is known that this is the 2nd self-managed worker group of Hai Van Ward Trade Union established after operating the new trade union apparatus model, raising the total number of self-managed worker groups managed by Hai Van Ward Trade Union to 4 groups.

Through self-managed worker groups in boarding houses, it helps the Trade Union organization grasp the living and working situation of workers to have timely attention, care and support; and at the same time help the government and localities ensure security and order at the grassroots level.
