Giving gifts to 762 workers in difficult circumstances

The program "Workers' Day - Market of Love" Xuan Binh Ngo 2026 was opened by Vietnam Textile and Garment Group and Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union in Ho Chi Minh City on January 12.

At the program, the Organizing Committee presented 20 gifts out of a total of 762 gifts with a total value of 860 million VND to representatives of textile and garment workers in the Southern region in difficult circumstances.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tam - President of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union - said that during the Lunar New Year 2026, the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union organized many activities to care for union members and workers such as: Program "Workers' Day - Market of Love"; Program to give bus tickets to workers to return home for Tet.

The Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union also requested that grassroots trade unions under its management organize the program "Tet Sum Vay"; visit and give gifts to union members and workers; organize the "Union Meal" for the Binh Ngo New Year, which is taken from union finances for implementation.

"In particular, the program "Workers' Day - Market of Love" with many essential products with maximum discounts of up to 80% but still ensuring quality will help union members and workers buy more items and products during Tet", Ms. Tam said.

Mr. Thai Khac Thao - a worker at Fiber 2 Factory, Viet Thang Corporation, representative of the workers who received the gifts, expressed his gratitude to the Vietnam Textile and Garment Group and the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union for always caring for union members and workers in the industry in daily activities and during the Lunar New Year.

The gifts help us feel the attention of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Group and the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union for workers, said Mr. Thao.

On this occasion, Vietnam Textile and Garment Group and Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union organized more than 40 booths selling essential goods at a discount of up to 80% for workers.

It is known that the program "Workers' Day - Market of Love" is organized by the Vietnam Textile and Garment Group and the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union in all three regions of the North, Central and South.
