337 disadvantaged workers proposed by the Vinh Long Labor Federation for care

According to the report from the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor from January 5 to 11, the Provincial Federation of Labor has submitted to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for consideration of funding to care for the lives of 337 union members and workers from poor and near-poor households, with a total cost of 337 million VND.

At the same time, the Provincial Federation of Labor organized delegations to visit and encourage businesses and workers at My Nguyen Production and Trading Company Limited after the fire, and at the same time directed the Trade Union of Unisoll Vina Company Limited to visit union members after suspected incidents related to food safety.

Regarding professional work, the Provincial Federation of Labor reported the results of the Trade Union Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term and summarized 10 years of implementing Conclusion No. 120-KL/TW on improving the quality and effectiveness of implementing grassroots democracy regulations.

During the week, the Emulation and Reward Council reviewed and rewarded 24 grassroots unions with outstanding achievements, and decided to classify grassroots union activities in 2025, announcing the financial revenue and expenditure settlement schedule in the three areas of Vinh Long, Tra Vinh, and Ben Tre.

Preparing for the upcoming events, the Provincial Federation of Labor has completed the plan to organize the Conference to summarize the Southern Emulation Cluster in 2025, the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" in 2026, and issued a document giving comments on leadership positions, plans to promote labor safety culture, consider recognizing initiatives in 2025 and implementing Resolution 68-NQ/TW on private economic development.

Last week, the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor also held a conference to summarize trade union activities in 2025, and at the same time deployed the trade union work program in 2026, ensuring efficiency, practicality and connection with the lives of workers and laborers.
