Vinh Long Labor Federation meets, listens, and resolves difficulties for grassroots union officials

On August 13, at Ty Xuan Company Limited, the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor held a meeting with grassroots union officials and deployed tasks after the union organization arrangement, with the participation of 283 delegates.

This is also an opportunity for leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor to meet, encourage, listen to opinions, recommendations and proposals of the grassroots trade union, thereby proposing policies and activities in line with the new trade union operating model.

At the conference, there were over 10 opinions from the grassroots trade unions reflecting a number of contents such as: still facing difficulties due to the delay in the new mark-making progress, some problems in trade union financial work according to the new regulations, ... significantly affecting the activities of the grassroots trade union and enterprises.

Mr. Le Van Tien, Chairman of the Trade Union of Ty Xuan Company Limited, expressed his understanding of the difficulties in the initial stage of arranging and merging the apparatus, but the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor still actively organizes trade union activities, ensuring no interruption.

Mr. Tien suggested that the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor soon stabilize and reorganize the organization appropriately, ensuring connectivity and closely following union members. At the same time, it is necessary to take care of workers' lives, protect workers' rights and perfect a new operating mechanism.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor - acknowledged the opinions and reflections of the grassroots trade union to synthesize reports and propose solutions.

Mr. Linh said that in the coming time, the Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to effectively implement the targets and tasks according to the annual work program, focusing on developing union members, establishing new grassroots unions, and at the same time strengthening activities to care for and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.

"The Provincial Federation of Labor will promptly grasp the situation, remove difficulties for the grassroots and complete the operating mechanism in accordance with the new model, ensuring effective union activities," Mr. Linh added.

At the conference, the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor presented 30 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to encourage and care for the lives of grassroots union officials.
