In 2025, the capital's trade unions at all levels have focused on the task of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and caring for the interests of members and employees. In particular, dialogue and collective bargaining work is of interest in both quantity and quality. The Hanoi City Labor Federation has directed the grassroots trade unions to develop and sign Collective Labor Agreements (CLAs) at units and enterprises. To date, 4,707 enterprises have signed collective labor agreements (reaching 82.03%). Regarding the quality of collective labor agreements - the number of type A and B collective labor agreements is: 47.67%.

More than 911,540 union members and employees were visited and given gifts with a total amount of 388.2 billion VND. Continuing to implement the "Union Shelter" program to support members and employees with housing difficulties - as of November 2025, the capital's trade unions at all levels have handed over 31 "Union Shelters" with a total amount of VND 1.150 billion. Of which, 22 new "Union Shelters" were built with an amount of 880 million VND, 9 "Union Shelters" were repaired with an amount of 270 million VND" - Mr. Le Dinh Hung - Permanent Vice President of the Hanoi City Labor Federation said.

Giving thousands of shopping vouchers to union members and workers

The Hanoi City Labor Federation has also developed a plan to organize activities to care for members and employees on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026. With the theme "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" and the motto "All union members and workers have Tet, enjoy Tet", the Hanoi City Labor Federation organized a series of activities, including: Program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" - 2026; program "Union Tet Market - Xuan 2026".

At the "Union Tet Market - Spring 2026", there will be "0" stalls; stalls selling products, goods, necessities for Tet, with a discount of at least 10% compared to the actual selling price; giving gifts and cultural and artistic activities to serve union members and employees...

The "Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" at the Social Housing Area, Thien Loc Commune is expected to take place on January 31, 2026 and February 1, 2026; with a scale of about 50 booths; the number of shopping vouchers (Vouchers) for union members and employees in difficult circumstances is 2,400 vouchers, each voucher worth 500,000 VND; 0" gifts: 2,400 prizes, each worth 300,000 VND.

Union Tet Market - Spring 2026 at the exhibition hall, Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace is expected to take place over 2 days 7-8; with a scale of about 70 booths; the number of vouchers for union members and workers in difficult circumstances is 3,600 coupons, each worth 500,000 VND; gave as gifts 0 VND - 3,600 coupons, each worth 300,000 VND.

Following the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Hanoi City Confederation of Labor will deploy the online program "Union Tet Market - Spring 2026". At the program, the number of shopping vouchers for union members and employees is 9,300, each voucher is worth 500,000 VND; purchase form: Online shopping on e-commerce trading floors.

In particular, the Hanoi City Labor Federation will support about 60,000 union members and employees in difficult circumstances (support level of 1 million VND/person); themselves or their relatives (wives, husbands, children) who are seriously ill, have had accidents, natural disasters, fires, work accidents, occupational diseases; union members and employees whose working hours have been reduced, have lost their jobs, have had their labor contracts postponed, or have had their income reduced; union members and employees in enterprises with difficulties in production and business who are owed wages, do not have Tet bonuses, enterprises with dangerous or toxic industries; union members and employees in policy families, ethnic minorities, who have not had the opportunity to return home for Tet; union members and employees who stay at their units or enterprises to work and do business during Tet.

The Capital Trade Union at all levels also organizes activities such as the Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng Program - 2026; implements grassroots support activities and organizes delegations of leaders of the City Party Committee, the Fatherland Front, and the Hanoi City Labor Federation to directly visit, wish a happy New Year and give gifts to union members and employees; organizes free cars, supports bus tickets for union members and employees to return home for Tet, Mr. Le Dinh Hung shared.
