Quang Tri Trade Union promotes women's work activities, cares for female union members
Quang Tri - Emulation, cultural and social security programs are widely implemented by the Trade Union organization, aiming to care for the lives of female union members.
On January 4, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) said that in 2025, women's work activities were clearly implemented by the Quang Tri Trade Union, bringing practical results, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life and ensuring the rights of female union members.
The Provincial Federation of Labor has directed trade unions at all levels to organize activities to celebrate International Women's Day 8.3; Hai Ba Trung's initiation; "Ao Dai Week"; International Day of Happiness 20.3; 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union 20.10 (1930-2025) and 15th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day 20.10 (2010-2025)... in accordance with the conditions of each agency, unit, and enterprise.
Typical activities include: launching the emulation movement "Good at public affairs, good at housework"; folk dance, sightseeing, tourism festivals; volleyball and football friendly competitions; folk games, culinary competitions... for female cadres, union members, and employees. These activities have created a strong influence, bringing an exciting atmosphere, attracting a large number of female employees to participate.
The Provincial Federation of Labor has successfully organized the Photo Contest "Traditional Ao Dai Beauty among Female Cadres, Union Members, and Workers in 2025". The Organizing Committee received and posted 85 entries from the direct superior trade unions at the grassroots level, including 52 collective photos and 33 personal photos. As a result, 19 collectives and 20 individuals won the prize; at the same time, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded Certificates of Merit to 04 collectives with outstanding achievements in implementing the contest.
In addition, implementing the "Sisters - Connecting Love" Program, the Provincial Federation of Labor has supported the Provincial Women's Union with 10 million VND; trade unions at all levels have completed support for 19 children with a total amount of 57 million VND.
The work of caring for children of union members and workers has also received attention through activities of awarding scholarships, commendation, and reward for children who are good at studying; visiting children with disabilities, families in difficult circumstances, etc.
