Quang Tri Trade Union spends more than 17 billion VND to take care of union members during Tet

On January 14, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) announced that it had just held the first Executive Committee meeting, term I, 2025-2030, summarizing trade union activities in 2025 and deploying trade union tasks in 2026.

In 2025, after the organizational arrangement, trade union activities at all levels in the province have many positive changes, many targets have been achieved and exceeded. The work of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers has been effectively implemented with the programs "Tet Sum Vay", "Worker's Month", "Union Tet Market". More than 32,583 union members and workers in difficult circumstances were supported and visited with a total budget of over 17.3 billion VND.

The whole province has 420 grassroots trade unions organizing the "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan An Dang" program, attracting more than 20,000 union members to participate; more than 4,000 union members and workers are supported to buy goods through the online "Union Tet Market" with a total benefit value of 2.4 billion VND.

The work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions was focused on, during the year, more than 1,200 new union members were admitted and 19 grassroots unions were established. The union introduced 809 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of admission, of which 409 were admitted.

In 2026, with the theme "Promoting innovation; concretizing and bringing the Resolution of the Party Congress, the Fatherland Front, and the Trade Union into life", trade unions at all levels in the province will focus on effectively implementing the Resolution of the Congress at all levels, promoting digital transformation, digital trade unions; in the immediate future, prioritizing the care of union members and workers in difficult circumstances during the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo with the motto "All union members and workers have Tet".
