Lam Dong Labor Union presents Tet gifts to more than 9,300 workers
Lam Dong - On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026, the trade union is focusing resources on caring for and supporting union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
On January 24, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit has developed a plan to care for union members and workers on the occasion of Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
Currently, the Provincial Federation of Labor is directing and guiding grassroots unions to review union members and workers in difficult circumstances to organize visits and give Tet gifts.
The care focuses on cases of job loss, illness, work accidents, natural disasters... Thereby, to ensure that all union members and workers can have a joyful and warm Tet.
According to Mr. Hoang, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation has recently deployed and guided 4,300 union members to participate in the online program "2026 Spring Union Tet Market". These are union members with difficult circumstances but have outstanding achievements in labor and production.
Each union member was given an online shopping voucher worth VND500,000, with free transportation support. Up to now, most union members have successfully shopped and received the goods.
In addition, from the union's financial resources, Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor presented 5,000 Tet gifts to union members and workers, each worth 500,000 VND.
Not only at the provincial level, commune, ward, special zone trade unions and grassroots trade unions also proactively balance resources to care for and give Tet gifts to union members and workers. Trade unions at all levels actively mobilize units and enterprises to accompany and support more resources to organize spring activities and celebrate Tet.
A highlight during this year's Lunar New Year is the "Union Year Meal" program organized by grassroots unions. The value of each meal includes 70,000 VND from the union's financial resources, along with additional support from businesses and units.
These practical activities contribute to bringing Tet together for union members and workers. At the same time, it strengthens the connection between workers and the trade union and the enterprise, Mr. Hoang shared.
