The union takes care of 120 workers with many outstanding policies
Lam Dong - The Trade Union and the Board of Directors of ASUZAC Da Lat Food Company Limited take care of 120 employees, with a salary of 8.5 million VND/month and many benefits.
On January 25, Ms. Pham Thi My Le - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of ASUZAC Da Lat Food Company Limited (Don Duong commune, Lam Dong province) said that this is a 100% foreign-owned enterprise, specializing in processing dried vegetables, tubers, and fruits for export.
Over the years, the enterprise has been operating stably, currently with 120 employees, of which 83% are female employees. The grassroots trade union has done a good job of propaganda and mobilization, so 100% of workers have been admitted to the trade union.
The Executive Board of the Trade Union of ASUZAC Da Lat Food Company Limited always strives to accompany the Board of Directors of the company in taking care of the jobs and lives of workers to improve.
Notably, 100% of employees are signed labor contracts, most of which are indefinite-term contracts. Thanks to that, workers are guaranteed sustainable jobs, receive an average salary of 8.5 million VND/person/month and fully participate in social insurance regimes.
The two sides also negotiated and signed collective labor agreements with many contents and policies that are more beneficial to employees. In 2023 and 2024 alone, 19 workers were sent to study and work in Japan to improve their skills and income.
In addition to wages and salaries, the company also supports many additional expenses for employees such as shift allowances, gasoline, phones, and house rental; at the same time, it pays special allowances, productivity bonuses and the 13th month salary.
In addition to organizing periodic health check-ups according to the provisions of law, for female workers, the company also supports obstetrics and gynecology examinations and childcare allowances.
At the same time, the union organizes birthdays and gifts on holidays and Tet; organizes cultural and sports exchanges; commend, reward and give gifts to children of union members and workers on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival and International Labor Day. At the same time, promptly visit and support union members and workers when they are sick, in difficulty, or in distress.
According to Ms. Pham Thi My Le, union members and workers are always satisfied with the working environment and treatment policies of the company, and at the same time want to stay long-term, work hard, and produce to build a union and the enterprise to develop more and more.
