Lam Dong Labor Union cares about taking care of the lives of union members and workers
Lam Dong - Caring for the lives of union members and workers is a key task, contributing to building a strong and professional union organization.
On the morning of January 23, the Executive Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held the 1st Conference for the 2025-2030 term.
The conference aimed to evaluate the results of trade union activities in 2025, deploy key tasks in 2026; at the same time, give opinions, discuss and agree on many important contents related to direction and management in the new term.
As of November 15, 2025, Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor is managing 1,066 grassroots unions with 94,533 union members.
In 2025, trade unions at all levels in the province have effectively implemented key tasks, focusing on the grassroots.
The work of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers continues to be focused on with many practical and timely activities.
The whole province has supported the construction and repair of 19 "Union Shelters" for union members in difficult circumstances, with a total cost of 740 million VND.
In particular, the whole province has organized the "Union Meal" program at 104 units and enterprises, serving 45,583 union members and workers, with a total budget of more than 3.4 billion VND.
Propaganda and political and ideological education work continues to be strengthened, contributing to stabilizing ideology and creating consensus among union members and workers.
In 2026, trade unions at all levels in the province determined to continue to focus on effectively implementing the set programs and activities; at the same time, arrange and perfect the grassroots trade union organization, build a team of trade union officials to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
At the conference, delegates focused on giving comments on the draft Working Regulations of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee; the full-term working program; and assigning tasks to members of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee.
The conference also considered draft plans on inspection and supervision work; training and fostering union officials; developing union members, establishing grassroots unions; action programs to implement the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
