Lam Dong Trade Union takes comprehensive care of 100% of workers
Lam Dong - The grassroots trade union of Bao Loc Urban Construction Joint Stock Company has had many practical activities to ensure jobs and care for workers' lives.
On January 6, Mr. Ho Dinh Dung - Chairman of the Trade Union of Bao Loc Urban Construction Joint Stock Company (Lam Dong province) said that the unit currently has 174 employees and 100% of them are union members.
According to Mr. Dung, the Executive Board of the Trade Union closely coordinates with the Board of Directors of the company in recruitment work, in order to ensure the rights of employees right from the time they start working.
Thanks to that, all employees are able to sign labor contracts. Of which, most of them are non-term contracts, with a salary of 529 million VND/month, contributing to ensuring jobs and stable income.
"The trade union is also more convenient in supervising the implementation of policies and laws, thereby better protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers," said Mr. Dung.
The grassroots trade union also proactively proposed and negotiated with the Board of Directors to sign collective labor agreements with many provisions beneficial to employees. In addition to annual health check-ups, workers are also supported with occupational disease examinations, gynecological examinations, cancer screening, etc.
At the same time, the unit regularly organizes cultural - artistic and sports activities, giving gifts to union members and workers on holidays, Tet, and birthdays.
At the same time, rewards and gifts are given to children of union members on the occasion of International Children's Day, Mid-Autumn Festival... All cases of difficulty, illness, and accidents are visited and supported in a timely manner.
During the period of 2023-2025, the union has organized many exchange activities with other units; at the same time, twice organized tours, tours, and picnicks for union members and workers.
We hope that these activities will create a joyful atmosphere, improve material and spiritual life, and at the same time strengthen the connection between union members and workers with the trade union organization and enterprises, Mr. Dung shared.
