Clause 5, Article 4 of Decree 368/2026/ND-CP detailing a number of articles and measures to organize and guide the implementation of the Law on Emulation and Commendation (effective from October 1, 2026) stipulates as follows: Maternity leave time for individuals according to the provisions of law is calculated as working time for consideration for awarding emulation titles and forms of commendation.
Thus, from October 1, 2026, maternity leave for individuals according to the provisions of law is counted as working time for consideration for emulation and commendation.
