Point d, Clause 1, Article 57 of Decree 368/2026/ND-CP detailing a number of articles and measures to organize and guide the implementation of the Law on Emulation and Commendation (effective from October 1, 2026) stipulates as follows: Individuals who are awarded Medals of Merit from ministries, departments, branches, provinces, political organizations, socio-political organizations at the central level, mass associations assigned tasks by the Party and State at the central level are awarded certificates, frames, Medals, Medal boxes and accompanied by a bonus amount not exceeding 0.6 times the base salary level.
Clause 2, Article 3, Decree 161/2026/ND-CP stipulates: From July 1, 2026, the base salary is 2,530,000 VND/month.
Thus, from October 2026, people who receive the Medal from October 2026 will be rewarded 1,518,000 VND (0.6 x 2,530,000 VND).
