ICs at all levels are entitled to connect databases of State agencies in the fields of banking, securities, asset registration, land, tax, inspection, audit, prosecution, adjudication, judgment enforcement and other databases to serve inspection and supervision work; access and use of databases shall be carried out in accordance with the Party's regulations and the State's laws.
When conducting inspection and supervision work, a number of measures are used: recording audio and video; sealing dossiers and documents; requesting functional agencies to freeze accounts, seize assets, temporarily suspend exit and other measures according to the provisions of law.
During the inspection and supervision process, if Party organizations, agencies, units or individuals are found to show signs of criminal law violations, they shall report and seek opinions from competent authorities and transfer relevant dossiers and documents to the investigating agency for handling.

The Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee emphasized the decentralization and increase in authority for the Central Inspection Committee in implementing disciplinary action against violating party members.
The Central Inspection Committee decides on disciplinary actions against party members and Party committee members below the grassroots level; reprimand, warning, dismissal of Party committee members of provincial and city committees and Party committees directly under the Central Government (including secretaries, deputy secretaries, incumbent and retired members of the Standing Committee), party members who are cadres under the management of the Politburo and the Secretariat but are not members of the Party Central Committee.
The Standing Committee of the higher-level Party Committee directly at the grassroots level is the final level to resolve complaints for disciplinary forms of reprimand and warning for Party organizations and Party members resolved by the Standing Committee of the grassroots Party Committee.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, City Party Committee and Party Committee directly under the Central Government is the final level to resolve complaints for disciplinary forms of reprimand and warning for Party organizations and Party members resolved by the Standing Committee of the higher-level Party Committee directly at the grassroots level.
The Central Inspection Committee is the final level to resolve complaints for disciplinary forms of dismissal of party members; reprimand, warning decided by the standing committees of provincial and city Party committees and Party committees directly under the Central Government.
The Secretariat is the final level to resolve complaints for disciplinary actions of expelling party members resolved by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, City Party Committee and Party Committee directly under the Central Government; reprimands and warnings to party organizations decided by Party committees and party organizations directly under the Central Government or below.
The Politburo is the final level to resolve complaints regarding the disciplinary form of expulsion from the Party decided by the Central Inspection Committee.
