Thai Nguyen - At the construction site of the social housing project implemented in Pho Yen City, workers are rushing to construct, aiming to complete in the third quarter of 2025.
Dai Thang residential area has a total investment of more than 700 billion VND, invested by TNG LAND Joint Stock Company, and started construction in April 2024 with the goal of helping low-income workers and laborers have a place to live.
The project is deployed on an area of 11.08 hectares in Dong Tien ward and Bai Bong ward (Pho Yen city, Thai Nguyen). This is a prime location, close to the Thai Nguyen - Hanoi expressway, close to industrial parks, hospitals, and schools in the area.
Accordingly, the investor has spent nearly 1ha to build social housing with 34 2-storey townhouses, 1 18-storey apartment building with 361 apartments.
The area of each apartment ranges from 26.7m2 to 70m2, arranged from 1 to 3 rooms, meeting the accommodation needs of 800 people.
On March 28, Lao Dong Newspaper's reporter noted that after nearly 1 year of implementation, the shape of the project has gradually emerged, the road infrastructure and lighting system have been basically completed.
At the construction site, hundreds of workers and machines were mobilized to urgently construct. The 18-storey apartment building has completed the rough construction and is undergoing roofing. Adjacent houses are also under construction.


Mr. Nguyen Canh Hung - supervision officer of the Dai Thang Residential Area Project Management Board (TNG LAND) - said that the project is in the completion stage, and is expected to complete the procedures for handover in August 2025.
"This is an important project, especially for low-income workers and laborers working in the area.
The prices of apartments will range from over 300 million VND for a 25m2 apartment (1 living room and 1 bedroom) and about 800 million for a 70m2 apartment (1 living room and 3 bedrooms", Mr. Hung added.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Vu Hai Bac - Chairman of the Pho Yen City Labor Federation - said that the social housing project being implemented in the area has great significance, especially being implemented close to industrial parks and clusters.
"When I came into contact with the workers, they were very excited about these projects. This will be an opportunity for workers and low-income people to have stable housing and work with peace of mind," Mr. Bac informed.
