Calculating the opening of routes when Phan Thiet airport is completed

On the afternoon of March 28, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province worked with Vietnam Airlines Corporation. In the future, Phan Thiet Airport, when completed and put into operation, will create a strong push for local development, helping Binh Thuan connect faster with major domestic and foreign economic centers.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Do Huu Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee suggested that Vietnam Airlines supported Binh Thuan's image to flights to contribute to promoting the image of Binh Thuan to domestic and international friends. At the same time, calculating the opening of the flight route when Phan Thiet airport is completed and facilitates employment at the airport for people in Binh Thuan.

According to Mr. Huy, if Phan Thiet airport starts construction of the BOT project by the end of 2025, it is expected to be completed in 2026.

To enhance development cooperation in various fields, Binh Thuan and Vietnam Airlines have also signed cooperation agreements, focusing on promotion, investment - trade - tourism - aviation promotion; coordinate research and formation of products, routes, tourist destinations...
