Phu Tho expects to complete 4,244 social housing units in 2026
Phu Tho - The whole province currently has 22 social housing projects, with 17,244 apartments. In 2026 alone, the province will complete 4,244 social housing units.
On April 8, 2026, according to the latest report of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee, in the period 2025 - 2030, Phu Tho province was assigned by the Government to complete 62,853 social housing units.
To date, the whole province has 22 social housing projects, with 17,244 apartments. Of which, 5 projects have been completed, with 2,107 apartments; 17 projects are being implemented, with 2,353 apartments. In 2026, Phu Tho province will complete 4,244 social housing units.
It is expected that in the period 2026 - 2030, Phu Tho will implement about 80 social housing projects, with a total of 61,276 apartments.
According to the report, the implementation of social housing projects still faces some difficulties and obstacles due to the location of social housing construction land plots not having or not being suitable for urban and rural planning; the construction of social housing using 20% land fund is still hindered in compensation and site clearance.
