Collecting 18 more sets of martyrs' remains at Le Thi Rieng Park on August 8th

According to the report of the Repatriation Team of Martyrs' remains under the Ho Chi Minh City Command, the task force has expanded the search scope at the 2nd search location (Zone B), and at the same time relocated about 250m3 of soil to approach areas suspected of having martyrs' remains.

As a result, on August 8, the task force discovered and repatriated 18 sets of martyrs' remains in Zone B. Among them, there were 16 sets of individual remains and 2 sets at a collective grave location; 14 sets with artifacts attached.

From June 23 to the end of August 8, the task force discovered and collected 245 sets of martyrs' remains, including 217 separate sets of remains and 28 sets at 7 collective grave locations.

Among the 7 collective grave locations discovered, there are 2 locations in Zone A and 5 locations in Zone B.

This is an area where the search for remains of heroic martyrs, cadres, and revolutionary soldiers who sacrificed in the General Offensive and Uprising of Spring Mau Than 1968 is being organized.
