Quang Ninh collects nearly 2,400 DNA samples from relatives of martyrs
Quang Ninh is accelerating the collection of DNA samples from relatives of martyrs, as of July 12, nearly 2,400 samples have been collected out of a total of 3,835 cases under review.
On July 12, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with Quang Ninh Provincial Police and units and localities, organized the collection of DNA biological samples of relatives of unidentified martyrs at Trong Diem Secondary School, Ha Long ward.
During the day, nearly 400 relatives of martyrs living in Ha Long, Hong Gai, Cao Xanh, Ha Lam and Ha Tu wards were instructed to declare information, compare dossiers and take biological samples according to the process.
In addition to centralized collection points, the Police force established mobile working groups to go to homes to collect samples for cases of old age, weak health, difficulty walking or inability to reach the collection location.
The peak period of DNA sample collection was implemented by Quang Ninh from July 10-14.

According to statistics, the whole province has 3,835 relatives of martyrs of foreign lineages who have not been collected DNA biological samples, belonging to the sample collection area in this phase.
As of July 12, Quang Ninh has collected nearly 2,400 DNA samples of paralyzed relatives.
