Sparkling fireworks in the sky of Ho Chi Minh City on the night of April 30
HCMC - On the evening of April 30, the sky of HCMC lit up with brilliant fireworks, attracting hundreds of thousands of people and tourists to admire.
On the evening of April 30, Ho Chi Minh City will launch fireworks at 30 locations, with fireworks display time from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.
The fireworks displays were elaborately invested, lasting about 15 minutes, starting at 9pm. Tens of thousands of firecrackers of all kinds of colors and shapes were fired into the sky, creating vivid and impressive "light paintings".
Nguyen Hue, Dong Khoi, Ton Duc Thang streets (District 1) were crowded with people wearing red shirts with yellow stars, carrying the national flag to join in the atmosphere of the 30th April festival.
Mr. Tran Minh Tuan (28 years old, living in Binh Thanh District) shared: "This year, the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification, my friends and I went early to choose a beautiful location to watch the fireworks. I felt very excited and proud."
In the Nguyen Hue walking street area, a special art program took place with vibrant music and dance performances, connecting the festival atmosphere before the opening fireworks display.
To ensure security and order, the city mobilized thousands of police officers, traffic police, and civil defense in key areas. The roads around the fireworks display area were diverted early to limit congestion.
Medical staff are on duty at crowded places, ready to provide emergency support when needed.
The blooming fireworks displays in the sky not only create a beautiful picture, but also ignite the spirit of national pride in the hearts of every Vietnamese person.
Also tonight, the organizer of the drone organized a test flight. The 10,500 drone performance will officially take place on the evening of 1.5.2025 on the Saigon River in Ho Chi Minh City on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country.
