Cases preparing to receive cash gifts up to 10 million VND in Hanoi
Hanoi - The city will give 2,107 gifts to policy beneficiaries who are people with meritorious services and revolutionary bases on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of National Day.
Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha has signed and issued a plan on giving gifts to policy beneficiaries who are people with meritorious services and revolutionary bases on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2026).
Accordingly, the city donates 10 million VND/gift (in cash) sent to revolutionary activists before January 1, 1945 (Vietnamese revolutionaries) and revolutionary activists from January 1, 1945 to the August Revolution of 1945 (Pre-insurrection).
Giving gifts worth 3 million VND/gift (in cash) to: Revolutionary activists, resistance activists who were arrested and imprisoned by the enemy; people who have contributed to helping the revolution who are awarded the Medal "Fatherland Remembers Merit" or "Accord for Merit to the Country"; family members who are awarded the Medal "Fatherland Remembers Merit" or "Accord for Merit to the Country" (in case the person named in the Medal "Fatherland Remembers Merit" or "Accord for Merit to the Country" has died, the representative of wife, husband, and children are given gifts).
In addition, the city organizes visits and gifts to typical collectives and individuals.
Accordingly, leaders of People's Committees of communes and wards: Ha Dong, Phu Dong, Quoc Oai, Xuan Mai, Phuc Tho, Thien Loc, Ung Hoa are authorized to visit and give gifts to revolutionary institutions that are collectives awarded the title "Gratitude for Meritorious Services to the Country" or "Commemorative Medal for Meritorious Services to the Revolution in the Resistance War" with a level of 27 million VND/unit, including 25 million VND in cash and a gift worth 2 million VND.
Each commune and ward also selects 2 typical families of people with meritorious services to organize visits and give gifts at a rate of 12 million VND/gift, including 10 million VND in cash and a gift worth 2 million VND.
According to the plan, the city will give 2,107 gifts, with a total budget of 10.399 billion VND.
The funding source is guaranteed from the city budget, commune and ward budgets according to decentralization and other legal mobilized sources.
In addition to this funding source, localities can mobilize more socialized resources to better care for people with meritorious services.
The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs to take the lead in guiding, inspecting, and supervising the implementation, summarizing the results of implementation and reporting to the City People's Committee; the Department of Culture and Sports to promote propaganda about the meaning of activities to express gratitude to people with meritorious services associated with activities to celebrate National Day September 2nd.
The Department of Finance advises on allocating funds to implement the plan according to regulations.
