Today, the National Assembly gives opinions on the establishment of Quang Ninh and Bac Ninh cities

According to the program of the first Extraordinary Session of the 16th National Assembly, on August 6, the National Assembly held a plenary session in the hall, listening to the presentation of reports on the following contents, including:

Project Resolution of the National Assembly on crime prevention and combat and law violations, work of the People's Procuracy, People's Court and judgment enforcement (Resolution of the National Assembly replacing Resolution No. 96/2019/QH14 of the National Assembly on crime prevention and combat and law violations, work of the People's Procuracy, People's Court and judgment enforcement);

Report on the establishment of Quang Ninh city and Bac Ninh city; report on the investment policy of the Ring Road 5 - Hanoi Capital Region investment project; report on adjusting the investment policy of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line investment project.

After the plenary session, the National Assembly discussed the above contents in groups.

In the afternoon of the same day, the National Assembly continued to discuss in groups on the Draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Architecture Law; Draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam, Law on Anti-Money Laundering and Law on Credit Institutions;

Project Resolution of the National Assembly on crime prevention and combat and law violations, work of the People's Procuracy, the People's Court and judgment enforcement (replacing Resolution No. 96/2019/QH14).
