Vinh Long Chairman directs acceleration of many key projects to serve double-digit growth
Vinh Long - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee surveys many key projects, directs the removal of obstacles, accelerates progress, and ensures quality.
On August 7, Mr. Tran Tri Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee - led a working delegation to survey the field of many projects in the area to check progress and remove difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process.
The delegation included Mr. Truong Dang Vinh Phuc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Finance - along with leaders of departments, branches and relevant local authorities, directly inspecting each project, assessing progress and implementation capacity.
The delegation surveyed the Lang The riverbank landslide prevention embankment project combined with Ghe Ngo racing stands; freshwater reservoir infrastructure along the Lang The River; upgrading and expanding Truong Van Kinh road and investing in Nguyen Hien Elementary School.
At the survey points, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee listened to reports on site clearance, construction progress, arising difficulties and obstacles, and at the same time received recommendations and proposals from localities and project implementing units.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the heads of units to promote responsibility, be drastic in site clearance mobilization, focus on accelerating construction progress, ensuring quality, and bringing projects to completion soon and effective exploitation.
According to the Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee, the completion of projects on schedule will contribute to completing infrastructure, promoting socio-economic development, and creating motivation to achieve the province's double-digit economic growth target in 2026.
