Appointment of some leaders of medical facilities in eastern Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City - The Department of Health announced the decision to appoint leaders of Ba Ria General Hospital and 2 regional health centers in the East of the city.
On June 30, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health organized the announcement and awarding of decisions to transfer and appoint leadership positions of some medical facilities in the eastern area of the city.
In which, the Department of Health announced and awarded decisions to transfer and appoint Dr. BS CKII Pham Huu Doan (Head of the Department of Women's Urology - Functional Urology, Binh Dan Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City) to hold the position of Deputy Director of Ba Ria General Hospital, from July 1, 2026.
At the same time, the Department of Health also announced decisions to transfer and appoint Mr. Le Cao Thai (Deputy Director of Ba Ria General Hospital) to hold the position of Deputy Director of Long Dat Regional Health Center; transfer and appoint Mr. Ta Anh Tuan (Deputy Director of Ba Ria General Hospital) to hold the position of Deputy Director of Chau Duc Regional Health Center, from July 1.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tang Chi Thuong - Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health - highly appreciated the working process of Mr. Pham Huu Doan, Le Cao Thai, Ta Anh Tuan in the past time. The transfer and appointment of personnel to new tasks aims to further strengthen the capacity of grassroots-level health units.
It is hoped that in their new positions, the officials will promote their capacity and bravery to build a united collective, improve their medical examination and treatment capacity to serve people and tourists in the eastern area of the city. As well as develop Ba Ria Hospital to be worthy of a general hospital, soon becoming a final-line hospital to support medical facilities in the east of Ho Chi Minh City.
