Tam Long Vang Charity Social Fund continues to provide financial support to people in difficult circumstances

Mr. Luong Van Thao, Head of Van Trai village, Thuong Tin commune, on behalf of the Golden Heart Charity Fund visited and presented 1,745,000 VND from Lao Dong Newspaper readers to support Mr. Nguyen Van Cu's family.

Mr. Cu participated in the battlefield in the period 1967-1974, was infected with Agent Orange. His daughter, 52 years old, suffered from Agent Orange sequelae and is unable to work. His wife, Ms. Tran Thi Nhan, 82 years old, is blind, suffers from bone and joint disease, is bedridden and needs care. The family's life mainly depends on social allowances and the support of relatives.

The family's income is only based on Ms. Huong's salary for cleaning, which is about 6 million VND/month, while the couple also raises their son who is in 7th grade. The burden of illness and treatment costs makes the family extremely struggling.
