Tam Long Vang Charity Social Fund inaugurates the "Kitchen for Children" project in Lao Cai
Lao Cai - On October 10th, the Golden Heart Charity Fund organized the inauguration and handover of the project "Cooking for Children" at Khe Nam school point, Hung Khanh commune.
Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sinh - Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Phan Thu Thuy - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Lao Dong Newspaper, Standing Deputy Director of Tam Long Vang Charity Social Fund; leaders of Hung Khanh commune and representatives of agencies, units, sponsors, teachers, parents and students.
Khe Nam school currently has 70 preschoolers studying, mainly Tay ethnic people.
Previously, the facilities serving the care and nurturing of children were still difficult, especially the kitchen area did not meet the requirements of organizing semi-boarding.
To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Northwest Representative Office - Lao Dong Newspaper and the 30th anniversary of the Golden Heart Charity Social Fund (1996-2026), the program launched a fundraising campaign "For Children of the Northwest", calling for companionship, social responsibility and sustainable contributions for the development of the highlands.
After an hour of launching, the program has raised 382 million VND from organizations and individuals.
Trang An Educational Equipment and Toys Co., Ltd. sponsored kitchen equipment with an amount equivalent to 100 million VND.
After a period of urgent construction, the "Kitchen for Children" project at Khe Nam school point, Hung Khanh commune has been completed, contributing to completing facilities, improving conditions for organizing semi-boarding meals, and ensuring food safety and hygiene.
The inauguration, handover and commissioning of the project shows the concern and joint efforts of organizations, units and the community for the cause of education in the locality.
Thereby, contributing to improving the quality of care and nurturing for children, especially at schools that are still facing many difficulties.
At the program, representatives of local Party committees, authorities and schools expressed their deep gratitude to the Golden Heart Charity Fund - Lao Dong Newspaper and sponsors for their concern and support in building the project.
This is a practical source of encouragement for teachers and students of Khe Nam school point, contributing to improving learning and living conditions and improving the quality of preschool education in Hung Khanh commune.
