Overcoming adversity to raise 3 children alone
Ms. Hoa is a worker who started working at Pou Chen Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Bien Hoa ward, Dong Nai city) in 2013. 3 years ago, while working at the production line, she suddenly suffered a stroke leading to a fall, one side of her body was almost paralyzed, limping, having to use a cane to walk with difficulty, having to hire Grab to go to work (adding costs). Ms. Hoa is also a single mother, raising 3 children in school.

Ms. Hoa then became weak in her limbs and could not move on her own but had to sit in a wheelchair, causing her mental breakdown.
However, Ms. Hoa's 3 children are all of school age, including Bui Nghia (born in 2005), Bui Phat Tai (born in 2012) and Bui Ngoc Ha My (born in 2015). Ms. Hoa's husband, Mr. B.H. C (born in 1968), did not live with her and her children.
Under the encouragement and help of the company's grassroots trade union and colleagues, Ms. Hoa tried to overcome adversity and continue working at the company to raise her children to study.
When they didn't have money to hire Grab to take them to the company, her two children, Tai and My, also had to take turns taking their mother to the company gate. From the company gate, Ms. Hoa's colleagues volunteered to push the wheelchair to help her to the production line to work and push the wheelchair to help her out of the gate at the end of the shift so that the children could pick her up to go home.
Although receiving a lot of help, with a meager salary of only about 10 million VND/month, limited health and unable to work overtime to earn extra income, Ms. Hoa has great difficulty in raising 3 children to study, taking care of medicine and daily living expenses.

Ms. Hoa added that due to difficult family circumstances, her eldest child, Nghia, is currently studying at a college in Ho Chi Minh City, both studying and earning money to support herself, helping Ms. Hoa take care of her younger siblings. Nghia's day starts at 5 am and goes to work part-time until 12 pm before returning home.
Currently, Tai and My are both studying at Tan An Secondary School in Bien Hoa ward, Dong Nai city.
