Bac Gia Nghia Ward Trade Union officially established, more than 2,170 union members

On January 19, Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the unit had just established a number of more commune and ward unions in the old Dak Nong province.

According to Mr. Phan Thanh Thai - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, this is a new model of trade union organization, established in communes, wards and special zones. For localities with few grassroots unions or a small number of union members, the Provincial Federation of Labor directs the establishment of inter-commune and ward unions to maintain and improve operational efficiency in neighboring areas.

Recently, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation held a conference to announce the decision to establish the Bac Gia Nghia Ward Labor Union. This union is assigned to manage 48 grassroots unions in Bac Gia Nghia, Dong Gia Nghia and Nam Gia Nghia wards, with more than 2,170 union members and workers.

In order for the Bac Gia Nghia Ward Trade Union to soon stabilize and start operating in a disciplined manner, the Provincial Labor Federation has appointed a provisional Executive Committee of 10 members, a Standing Committee of 3 members; and appointed Mr. Nguyen Dinh Ngoc to hold the position of Chairman of the Bac Gia Nghia Ward Trade Union.

Immediately after the conference to announce the decisions, the Provisional Executive Committee of the Bac Gia Nghia Ward Trade Union met, discussed and decided on many important contents, including approving working regulations, assigning tasks to members of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Women's Committee and key work program in 2026.

The consistent goal identified by the Bac Gia Nghia Ward Union is to perform well the function of representing, protecting legitimate and legal rights and interests and caring to improve the lives of union members and workers.

Speaking on the orientation of activities, Mr. Phan Thanh Thai requested the Bac Gia Nghia Ward Trade Union to focus on widespread propaganda about the 14th National Congress of the Party and the election of the 16th National Assembly, People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

At the same time, the trade union needs to pay attention to and take care of the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo in 2026 with the motto "all union members and workers have Tet"; at the same time, continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, building a strong and comprehensive Bac Gia Nghia Ward Trade Union.
