To bring workers' voices closer to the Trade Union organization

On the afternoon of July 30, Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation organized the Forum "Listening to union members and workers of Hoa Xa Industrial Park". Attending the forum were representatives of the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province, leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation and a large number of union members and workers at Hoa Xa Industrial Park.

At the forum, delegates directly listened to the thoughts, aspirations, proposals and recommendations of union members and workers. This is an opportunity for workers to reflect on issues arising in the working process and life such as salaries, income, working hours, meals, housing, occupational safety and health, insurance regimes and welfare policies...

Many union members and workers boldly exchanged and asked many questions and recommendations related to regimes and policies; salaries, bonuses; social insurance, health insurance; working conditions; occupational safety and health; work to care for the material and spiritual life and the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.

Representatives of the leaders of Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation and related units directly listened, exchanged, and answered opinions and recommendations in a democratic, open and responsible spirit. Many contents were answered immediately at the conference.

Mr. Vu Hong Minh - Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation - said that organizing a forum specifically for workers also helps shorten the distance between trade union officials and union members at enterprises. Instead of just receiving information through reports, leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation can directly hear the voices of people working in factories and workshops.

Each opinion at the forum not only reflects the needs of an individual but can also reflect common issues being raised for many workers in industrial parks. This is also an important basis for the Trade Union organization to correctly identify the contents that need to be concerned, cared for and protected for workers.

The forum not only creates opportunities for workers to speak but also sets requirements for the Trade Union organization in receiving, summarizing and conveying opinions to responsible agencies and units.

Contents under the authority of the Trade Union organization will be studied and included in the activity program. For recommendations related to state management agencies or businesses, classifying and transferring them to the correct address will contribute to improving the efficiency of resolution" - Mr. Minh said.

Also according to Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation Vu Hong Minh, the organization of the Forum "Listening to union members and workers speak" is not only one activity in the series of activities of the "Listening to union members and workers speak in 2026" Month launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

This is one of the specific activities to concretize the policy of innovating Trade Union activities in the direction of taking union members and workers as the center, close to the grassroots level, listening to the reality, acting drastically, taking the satisfaction of union members and workers and the results of resolving recommendations as a measure of the effectiveness of the Trade Union organization's activities.

Through dialogue, the Trade Union organization has more basis to grasp the labor relations situation at enterprises, promptly summarize issues under its authority to resolve or propose to functional agencies for consideration.

The forum also contributes to strengthening the connection between trade union leaders and union members and workers; and at the same time promotes the role of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
